Superfood Trail in Nagano

I came across this video in my search for medical Onsens, a huge part of immune and lymphatic therapy is also the foods we eat and drink. Many clients are now interested in fermented foods especially if they are also fighting cancer or a disease.

These foods in this video can be brought at your local Asian supermarket or specialty Japanese stores, even dan Murphy and vintage cellar are now stocking Sake. This video is also the first I’ve came across that talks about Sake as a superfood and especially Sake lees.

Since making small changes to my diet adding fermented foods and swapping from wine to Sake, ive noticed a difference in energy, and also recovering quickly from a cold especially with Melbourne,s weather.

I hope you enjoy this video changing just a small part of your diet a bit at a time could really make a huge health benefit.

A big thank you to all the clients that have text or emailed and mentioned in treatment sessions, how they are enjoying reading the Forest Walkjng and Onsen related posts. I hope I’m inspiring more to walk more in the forest, Water therapy and fermented foods but maybe even visit Japan. Post from FB page “The Movement Clinic” @MelbourneMovementClinic

Medical Frontier’s follow the Superfood trail in Nagano, fermented and traditional foods in Japan are very popular in Onsen Villages.
Eating, drinking and Onsen therapy go hand in hand and many villages traditional foods are what keeps the Onsen’s and Villages alive.
Both traditional esp fermented foods are scientifically proven for long term health benefits, it’s probably why Japan has a history of the worlds oldest living nation.
In this video on superfoods it’s the first one I’ve seen mention Sake as a superfood group, Sake is made from rice and goes through a fermentation, some Sake is also made with Volcanic water adding to the minerals.
Combine and try fermented and traditional foods a great way to keep the community alive with your Onsen therapy, change your lifestyle.
