Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique)
Due to the complexity of some swelling issues or lymphatic system dysfunctions. The Movement Clinic has formed a categories price list to entail, general description about the type of swelling , cost, length of time for treatments, and protocols involved in your session.
Cat 1.
General Swelling: Sports Injuries, Stress, Sinus conditions, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, Glandular fever, Burns, Immune disorders, Bruising, Acne, General Swelling.
Cat 2.
Plastic Surgery: Cosmetic, Facelifts, Abdominoplasty, Reconstruction breast, Full body lift, Rhinoplasty, liposuction
Initial Treatments includes comprehensive patient history, records of surgery, followed by treatment and information on post care for swelling and scar tissue management.
Treatment plan for follow up sessions, history on initial treatment, treatment, if needed surgeon or nurse in charge correspondence and ongoing patient plan for further treatments.
Cat 3.
Lymphoedema: Lymph node removal, Cancer, Disease, Venous Insufficiency, persistent swelling, Primary lymphoedema, Secondary lymphoedema
Initial treatment includes comprehensive patient medical history of surgery, treatment, information on care for swelling, skin care, exercise instructions, if necessary referral practitioner list for compression garment or physiotherapy sessions.
Follow up sessions include ongoing treatment plan, co-ordination with other practitioners therapy care, correspondence with patients medical team.
